Their track is a great place to condition - running, plyometrics, running stairs. Big blue pole vault mats for practicing acrobatic tricks.

It gets pretty crowded so get there early. There are all sorts of people. Break dancers, cheerleaders, gymnasts, stuntmen, martial artists working all sorts of tricks and skills.

David Douglas has been know to train here on occasion.

Located in the gymnasium next to the tennis courts. If coming north on Fulton, take a right on Burbank then a left onto Ethel. Lot parking is by permit only.

Doesn't get very crowded, new floor, and helpful friendly people. Good for gymnastics. Better equipment than LA Valley, but not as diverse. Mike Chaturantabut used to train here.

There are probably a dozen karate studios in your area, so pick one you feel comfortable with. I listed Simon Rhee's because I know a few really good kickers who train there, not to mention the fact that Master Rhee is tops and has worked on many movies (Blade, Lethal Weapon 4, Beverly Hills Ninja ...)
