seen in Hong Kong action movie fight scenes.
  2. starts off like a back handspring, but the arms collapse so that the shoulders and part of the back touch the ground and the legs touch (or almost touch) the ground beyond the head. not a move to do on concrete.

  • Just like a Faylong but landing on the right leg (the last kicking leg) instead of the left.
 cyclone    [DREW J]define
  • A jumping spinning crescent with your front leg. For example: if you are right legged, then your right leg should be in front. Jump up to the right side and kick with the right leg. As you land, the left should now be in the front, while the right is in the back. [Reverse instructions for left leg] [DREW J]
 dalsim    [KASON]define
  • The 'DALSIM' is a spiraling double leg jumping front kick. Start off running foward and once you have gained enough speed you throw one leg (which ever you are comfortable with) in the air as if you were going to do a gainer then you whip the other leg in it's opposite direction (ex. right leg whips to the left) as if it were an upside down butterfly twist then you spin with legs straight foward. You can land on one or both legs, I've developed many variations on the move. [KASON]
 dead falldefine

  • it means to do a dolphin dive then while you up on the air you spin!!! easy as 1..2..3!!

double outside cresent split kick    [Brian]define
  1. as you jump up, both legs perform outside cresent kicks at the same time, reaching full side-splits as you hit max height, you complete the kicks as you descend so you can land feet together, or legs slightly crossed (one behind the other).
    [Brian]
  2. looks way more flashy than your regular jump spilt kick, which is just 2 front kicks out to either side.
 double twisting layoutdefine
 Dragonlancer    [Dragonlancer]define
  • Ok, I decided to name this here move after me, cuz I have never seen it done. You run quite fast, and do a corkscrew kick up and forward so you are going diagonally. After one twist, or more, you have to have your back facing the direction you are moving, you break into a back layout, and land. That's it, just dont hurt yourself, because after every time I try this now, I get up about 10 minutes later. .,-/*\-,.PEACE.,-/*\-,. [Dragonlancer]

 Faylong 540define
 Fei Longs dragon kickdefine
  • Fei Long's Dragon Kick is performed like a normal 360 Jump Crescent. However after the rotation, instead of kicking with the right leg with a crescent, the left leg shoots out as a front kick. Once the leg is out, you complete 1/2 to one full rotation with the leg in that position. Kim Do does a 720 like that. [Darian]
 Fighting Serpants    [Jeff]define
 flaredefine
  1. a gymnastic move that involves swinging the open legs in front of and behind the arms. only the hands touch the ground during the entire movement.

 flare variations    [bag-of-trix]define
 flash kickdefine
  1. a round-off back layout step-out. most people tuck one leg and make the motion look more like a kick than a traditional gymnastic step-out.
  2. a variation is going up into a pike off the round-off so that the body makes a V and then kicking out to whip the torso back to complete the movement.
It looks more powerful than a regular flash kick which simply floats over.
  3. it is just a whipback, but you split the legs in the air. Also, it doesn't necessarily have to be done off a round-off
 flashswipe    [David Skakle]define
  • Setup like a Kim Do split kick. Then as you jump kick a leg out(either one does not matter)in front of you like a flash kick. As your leg comes out start to spin the same direction as the leg that is out. (for example left leg out for flash kick spin to the left and vice versa) You will want to spin 360 degrees. As you spin 360 degrees lean back to give the illusion of being inverted. And finally on the way down you land like a tornado kick (360). Peace David Skakle [David Skakle]
 flutter front kick    [luccini]define
  • run, jump, and do several front kicks in the air, switching kicking leg each time. Works best when you can have a couple people sitting down on the floor in a line, holding targets above their heads. Sometimes called a walk-over, b/c it looks like you're walking over the people. [luccini]
 flutter kick    [luccini]define
  • 2 or more roundhouse kicks, switching leg each time you kick, without stopping or any pause between the kicks. When your feet switch, only the ball of your non-kicking foot should be touching the ground. [luccini]

 folha secca    [Aranha]define
 frogmandefine
 front aerialdefine
  • an aerial cartwheel but finishing facing the same direction as started. A normal aerial you finish facing the opposite direction that you started.
 front flopdefine
 front handspringdefine
  • gymnastic move where while moving forward the hands come down together onto the ground and the body flips over landing on the feet. arms are straight and close to side of head during the movement.
 front kickdefine
  • bringing the knee to the chest, snapping the foot out forward and striking with the ball of the foot with the foot pointed and the toes back.
 front pushing heel kickdefine
  • exactly what it sounds like. a kick to the front making contact with the heel. different from a front kick in that the movement is more of a push than a snap.
 front snap kickdefine
 front splitsdefine
  • lower body flexibility move that involves bringing one leg straight in front of the body (knee up) and the opposite leg straight back behind (knee down).
Also called regular splits and sometimes American splits.
 front tuckdefine
  • jumping up and flipping forward as hips rotate over top. usually more difficult than a back tuck, because it's a blind landing and you need more height
