a cool move I just thought of: start like a normal aerial, but then at the top of the spin, twist your body and kick out so you finish like a front-flip stepout. [Matt250R]
Hey can anyone tell me how to do a front or bck handspring? I know how 2 go down into a bridge though I don't know how to "spring" up. Anyt infor would be very helpful!! Please Email me @ Americanangel4god@yahoo.com Thanks
A backhandspring is just going backwards in to a handstand and handstands are easy right? So just think that in your head and you wont be scared. And if you put your hands out your not going to land on your head.
backhand spring... just do it how you think it's done... it's not that difficult, the hardest part is getting over the fear of throwing yourself backwards. its' not so much of a bridge but a jumping backwards... because with a bridge, you don't get enough momentum to "spring. ^^
Easiest way to start is to start doing kickovers. Once you can do a backbend kickover, then move to back walkovers. Gets you used to moving backwards. Just remember when you throw your backhandsprings throw BACK, not up.
I can do backflips just fine but I can't really do backhandsprings. At firts I thought it was because I wasn't very flexable in the shoulders then I realised I just flip way too much, I tried adjusting how hard but then I just landed on my face, I am a freak.

before you try to do a back hand spring practice y our sits.Sit all the way back until your thighs ar e parallel with the ground.Uou should sorta be on your heels. That way when you jump it will help you go back not up.Then all you got to do is lock your ar ms out and use your STOMACHE MUSCELS to pull your l egs over.DO N0T put all the wieght in your butt.It causes you not to bound up.Make sure your hands go over before your head.If you use these tips it sho uld come easy.Don't try your first backhandspri ng without a spot.It helps to do them on a trampoli ne.!!!!

Okay..I can do a backbend from a standing up posi tion. I've heard of a "slow motion back handsprin g" that you should try to do those first, THEN try t o do a backhand spring by itself. But when I am in a b ackbend, I cannot seem to get my feet over my head, I have a lot of leg muscle, its just I cant get my fee t over my head! Do you think going into a backbend a nd then using ur feet to climb up the wall and flip o ver would help?? I need some suggestions =(

To do a backhand spring, you start with your legs together. You bend your knees and put your hands i n front of your body. Then, you throw your hands ba ck and jump at the same time. JUMP BACK! Your toes a re the last thing to leave the mat. Lock out your ar ms and remember after you go back, unbend your kne es and make your legs straight. Keep your whole bo dy tight, and first try with a spot!
im 11 and i alredy know how to do every thing but my back hand spring my teacher says she doesnt even t ouch me when she spotts me but when she backs away i get freacked but i can do it every where but not on t he floor help
When your teacher is spotting you are you on the t rampoline? I have issuese with "backhand spring fear" also. Also if you have a pit try doing back ha ndsprings into those by urself, fun and easy. Jus t close your eyes and picture yourself doing it an d say to yourself, I can do it!
If you want help with backward handsprings or ba ckflips please check out their pages as there are already great tips there. Now for Aerial step-ou t there are two ways to get this one the first is to u se the momentum from your back leg in your aerial t o pull it over which requires good flexibility as you have to drive it hard over you and the other is t o work up to it by at first just turning and your aer ials into aerial walkovers in mid air and then jus t adding the step-out after you get used to that.
