Try it from a round off set up, just over turn the round off and continue the rotation until you have done a 180 degree turn, then use your foward momentum to do a front flip
There really easy just goto your local gymnastics gym and they'll teach you the safe and easiest way all u gots to do is get a good running start have a strong round off set and then turn and do a front tuck or a front punch. -Brink0269@aol.com
shit...this post still here.....????? I know it was never my move exclusively, but at the time i posted, combastics was like a little community with relatively few moves on this list...so i named it after myself, cos I'd posted about a quarter of the moves on the site at the time. It's cool a lot of you are trying to learn it anyways... I'll be posting as Jetset from now on, my b-boy name. Peace out.
ok, cause these explanations suck, an arabian is where u start, usually in a back round off back handspring sequence, and jump up like u would go into a back flip, but u dont. u turn 180* around in the air and then flip. This move is easy when learned with a professional spotter and building up into the full thing in a gymnastics center, but not for 'just' anybody who feels like learning one outside.
I went to gymnastics for years and they never taught me any of this stuff. Only round off back handspring backflip combos, front flips, and double backs and double fronts on trampoline. Whats up with that?
HI, I can do nearly all of an arabian. I jump back and do the half turn into forward tuck but i always land low and can't stand properly. What's wrong with me! Thanks
OKAY NOTHING IS WRONG WITH U ALLZ U GOTTA DO IS GET A HIGHER SET AND DONT THINK ABOUT IT SO MUCH CAUSE OTHER WISE U'LL PULL IT OFF THE GROUND (SUCH AS IF U THINK ABOUT THE LANDIN BEFORE U DO A FULL) N E WAYS JUST KEEP PRACTICING THEM AND TRY TO HOLD THE JUMP A LITTLE HIGHER BEFORE TURNING INTO UR FRONT. IF U NEED ANY CLARIFICATION JUST E-MAIL ME @ BRINK0269@AOL.COM
Im actually a gymnast but arabians feature in my favorite tumble ( handspring gainer roundoff ti scani roundoff double arabian) and thought i cou ld give a few tips. the trick is to land two footed f rom a roundoff and trust sideways 180 degress bef ore you start forward rotation. Hope this helped as it is realy important.
all of these explanations are sorta rite. all u n eed to do is come out of a running pass (roundoff/b ackhandspring) and use ur momentum to do a 180° wh ile doin a front punch. be sure to start ur front pu nch a lil earlier than completely fnishing ur spi n, otherwise ull land on ur side.
wut up guyz i am tryna figure out how to do this dam n thing!! INEED HELP! i have 3 weeks toget it and my pass given to me is round-off arabian, round-off full, i have oit all... except this damnarabian. so if im putting all ur info together, you round of f set high dont go striaght back, just sideways ha lf turn, then thrust my hands and legs out to land a nd start the second round-off???
I've seen people do this all wrong with my own eye s, and it's the way you guys describe it. An Arabia n is a layout back and then a half twist so u are upsi de down after ur twist. You then keep ur feet going forward so u do the front flip aspect of the trick. So it's something like a 180 half back layout and t hen finish the front. It is a difficult one to expl ain though.

Hey everyone! I'm a Gymnast and I do arabians so i 'll try to give a good detailed answer. Start eith er with a round off or round off handspring. I'll e xplain it just out of a round off. After the round o ff you need a high bound. Then you do a half turn in t he air as fast as possible. After you turn and are a t the top of your bound you drive your heels behind your head and then you throw your arms from over yo ur head to catch up to your feet until you are in a tu ck position. I hope I helped. If your determined y ou should be able to get this trick fairly quick.
