put it like this if you can do a STRAIGHT frontflip you can do a barani, but you must be able to do a decent quality frontflip before you even attmt a barani.OK do as you would in a frontflip but as soon as you are upside down just shift your shoulders to one side causing you to twist and land the opposite way you where facing..dont be supprised if you do an aerial cartwheel the first few ettempts but you will get there.....bararnis also look brilliant followed by a backflip.thanx
you're victim must be on the ground and you have to have your back against him. Then jump up high like your going to do a kip up suicide but use your hands to gain extra momentum. If done correctly Its almost like a handstand as your hands will be on the ground then your feet will come smashing down on your victims body like a very strong double axe kick
Make sure you hold his/her hand correctly that means start off contorted and when you finish you'll have a regular brother lock. then try it. when you start it'll look like a no handed cart wheel. just use your shoulders and waist more.
hey can anyone please tell me the name of the famous technique where you begin lieing flat on your back, kick your legs up into the air so that your body is almost vertical and then whip yourself forward into a squat and onto your feet; its a very common move in the movies for getting off your back and onto your feet...better yet anyone got any tips on how to correctly do this? i am almost there
Brandy and 180 front are two different things. You don't start like a roundoff doing a front flip....so you dont do it on a 180 front. On a brandy you start like an aerial and land facing the opposite side. On a 180 front you jump off BOTH feet first...
mike77... I never knew the name of it until now either, but when learning to do a kick up I would recommend to use your hands at first, after you get good at that is when you don't use your hands. Your muscles need to memorize things like that & using hands when you are beginning this trick will help them to do that. Make sure you put your elbows up & hands beside your ears if you choose to use your hands. & your feet need to touch or come close to your chest before using all that power to pull you up. Also GO FAST!!! you can't take your time or you will fall.
Baranis are known (as you people have said) in many different ways...on the trampoline it is known as a front with a 1/2 turn. This is because the gymnast on the trampoline completes the front tuck, kicking out of the tuck at the 12:00 position and doing a 1/2 turn onto the bed of the trampoline. Tumbling, yes it is a roundoff with no hands, but if you twist too early, judges will go wacko! You have to try to do the flip and be straight (at the 12:00 position) and twist down. This is much more of a challenge when you tumble, becuase of the height difference. I don't know what in the world it has to do w/ Karate, but I am a trampoline and tumbler, not a martial arts expert...anyways, I hope I helped a little bit!
I'm a Tramp Coach and I can give you some tips on how to do Baranis.First You need to do a tucked Front Sault (front Filp WITHOUT hands) then when you are comfortable with this try it without a tuck, so it becomes straight. When you can do this all you have to do is twist your shoulders just before you land and you will have a barani!
When u can do this try doing a straddle before you hit the ground. For those who don't know what a straddle is: Its like a Kung fu Kick when both legs go as close as possible to being Horizontal
If ya wana do barani's then do trampolining. I dont know how the hell a barani is classed as any type of martial arts move. A barani is a front sommersault with a late 1/2 (or 180 degree) twist. I should know. I am a grade 2 trampolinist. Could someone please tell me when you might use a barani in any form of martial arts. Whats next, a 1/2 in back out? lol
by the way that was a sarcastic and Rhetorical comment dont even bother trying.(If you know what im talking about and if you are a trampolinist I ment fliffus).
None of you seem to now what this move is, it is men t to be a straight sommersault with a 180 twist NOT a no handed round off. This is why you are finsing i t so difficult
the easiest way of explaining this is just a roun d off wit no hands, take of wit 2 feet( when u start o f use a beat board, or tumble track, try 1doing a ro und off with yer legs 2getherso instead of stepin in2 it do jump in2 it,1nce u can do it perfect, try w hipping yer torso up faster, and in the end, total y remove yer hands from the picture
a barani is front summy of any type (tucked piked or straight) with a 1/2 twist that begins soon aft er you leave the bed and lasts untill just before y ou land, like a round-off, its harder than a front summy-half twist but easier than a half twist-ba ck summy
is it possible to do a barani on the ground withou t knowing how to do a front flip?? lol just wonderi ng cause on the trampoline baranis are so much eas ier then fronts
