Kind of self explanitory, two tucked up backflips before you land, usually set up with a round off. learn regular backflips really good before attempting this.
This took me about 3 months to get down really good, but its really freaky. Make sure you have a bomb back tuck before attempting this flip. When you go to attempt it after your round off punch strait up in the air and cowboy tuck (like a regular tuck but your legs are wider and your holding on to your shins) keep your chin to your chest and roll. Dont open up to early or you'll break your leg or mess up your knee.
if you are ever going to attempt it you should first learn backflip and then double back-but only on somthing like a gymnastics floor or very vers soft grass
you also should have a profesional coach to spot u if u screw up because it can get really messy--trust me!
so if you are serious about learnig double back go to a gym club--thats really the only way to learn it!!
it took me forever 2 learn but a tip is learn it on a trampoline first its so much easier than learneing it on the floor or grass and its not scaryn at all there really fun
No, its not hard to do once you practice other things and work you way up to it, but remember, nobody just one day try's to do a back flip with any skill, practice makes perfe--wait, nothings perfect, unless its how you emagined it to be! -Xan
I cant do that--yet! But i can do a double front flip on a trampoline! How? Complete adrenaline, I did about ten minuts after i lost my virginity! heh heh heh!
Has anybody ever seen or knows anyone who can do a standing double back? I am working on that right now and can make it to my hands and knees but I think my set is all wrong. Any thoughts.
This move is NOT OKAY to do anywhere but a gymnastics center! THIS MOVE HAS KILLED PEOPLE it is very difficult and i dont think standing is even possible DONT DO THIS EVER UNLESS UR AT A GYM LEARNING THIS PROFESSIONALLY-whoever even started this move should be shot ONLY COACHES AND PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE USED TO TEACH THIS-VERY RISKY MOVE!!!
by the way, i meant whoever started this forum for the move, not the move itself, this move is amazing when done right and it is somewhat easy to do at a gym, considering that 8 year old girls can whip into this quite easily at times. But dont get ur hopes up too much, they train a lot unless they are doing this on a trampoline!
ok if you are having trouble getting your legs up over your head, just think its all a mind game. just turn into freakin sonick the hedge hog when your upside doun put your fore-head to your nees ... and for the pete of sake .... grab your shins!!!!
I cant do backflips on the ground or other things because I think I'll land on my head. I cant do it on trampolines because I am scared of the landing and I think im gonna land on my neck or eat shit. But I can do backflips into pools or cliffs. Its fucken weird. Can anyone help me?
Help! i really want 2 learn a back tuck and eventually turn it in2 a back handspring, or should i learn the handspring 1st? Can anyone give me steps to help me out! thnxxx! -Chrissy*Austa*
I havent done a double back on anything except a wakeboard before (didn't land that either). But from years of doing back tucks, back layouts and even landing on my back, head and stomach, this is my tip.
HAVE NO FEAR AND STAY COMMITTED!!! The worst thing anyone can do is try and pull out halfway through a back summy. Plus, if you practice on soft grass or mats then you will have little chance of getting hurt.
For the guy trying the double back from standing... You go son. If i had that much spring i'd be doing the same thing.
I never made a double back on floor out of a roundoff backhand spring. But it is easy to try it on a one meter dyving board... Even if you miss the "landing", it won`t hurt that much...
Double Back what the hell, don't try this, just be glad you can do one back flip i really wanna be able to do one backflip....do you have to be really gymnastic or anything or can you just learn it????????
Hi I have been doing flips for like 7 months or so I can do a lot of stuff on grass like back and front tucks, 180 flips, front and back handsprings, side flips, almost 1 footed backflips or flash kicks a bunch of stuff like that. I am trying to learn how to do just a roundoff to back flips, but how the hell do you set up a double tuck.
Have been taking capoeira for several years, an d where i practiced it, we didnt have gym floors.. . It all depends on determination and please befo re u do anything just get someone to spot you. To do a back spring, u would have to learn how to do a back bridge and then from there u start on slowly and th en faster faster then if u get the back hand spring u get a spot to help you evole it into a back flip, or get a friend u trust to lock both hands on knee leve l and run and stand on it and if he throws u, u will ge t the taste of it, if u can do that 10 straight throu gh u can do a back flip... double bakc is BS it will m ess U up bad but just try on a trampoline or some sof te matress.
double back flips are impossible unless you do t hem off something, like a tree or a wall, or a divin g board, maybe a pummel horse or a gym floor, not re gular crap like the grass or concrete
Hey ok I can do the splits, do a handstand and then flip over into a bridge but I cant get myself out of it. I wanna learn how to do back flips too and Im rea lly flexible and I can see why I cant do it! im not af raid I know that much. can someone please help me o ut and give me some tips or tricks please!
Even the most unflexible person in the world can do a back flip. Felxibility doesn't matter. Firs t of all, work on doing roundoff rebounds. Get as h igh as you can on the rebound. Second, work on roun doff backhandsprings. Once you mastered that, d o a very high backhandspring and you will notice t hat you can do a back tuck out of a roundoff. They ar e hard to do if you aren't a gymnast. -
well at first i never new how to do any back flips b ut how i started to do them was to think about how i w ould do it in my mind.what ur mind thinks it does.a s long as u think it then u can do it. i'd get in the po sition then i close my eyes,i think about how i wou ld do it (in position then tilt forward a little wi th ur hands to ur side then throw ur hands in the air (bend ur arms ) and one foot in front and one foot in the back, then push ur whole body to your hands the n flip your legs over fast then land on our feet)(s ounds easy but it is harder then u think)then i'd d o what i just thought about. but if u cant flip ur le gs over and you are scared then just dont think abo ut it and jusT do iT. works for me. buT hey noT every Thing works for everybody
Having read about you inexperienced people att epmting to perform a very dangerous move i was sho cked. It took me years to perfect this move having trained as a national squad gymnast for about 11 y ears! I think you are stupid and irresponsible to try this move without proper training and spotti ng let alone safty equipment and beds.
as sonns as your get confedent enough fo do a back flip as high as your can jump, and do a backflip on f lat ground you should be able to do double back fli ps. just jump as high as you can on a trampoline, th en tuck like hell as if your doing it on flat ground . double back flips are easy to do once yove worked up the courge. right now im working on backflip 10 80's, i can do backflip 900's, but their hard simp ly because you cant se where you are in the air, and your spinning in both directions. if anyone has t ips for backflip 1080's, if would be appreciated .
I am a wimp and need to learn this double back flip on a trampoline... I can do a standing back tuck on ground with 1 foot!!! But everytime I try a double back flip on a trampoline I chikin out. I can do a tr iple afront with no problem, but let me tell you th at double sucks! BEsides being scared why can I land a double front flip on ground, but not even la nd a double back on a trampoline??? o hell with it I 'm going to do it today, but just in case i chikkin o ut reply to this and help!!!! Ps. who can beat me 36 inch vertical...i am only 14....
u all suckm(no ofence) i can walk 43 metres on my h ands, standing double back sommer sault, front f lip, fowards and back handspring. But then again i do train every day exept sundays for 3 hours im 14 and am coming up to being pro. The only advice i can give iz BE CAREFULL!!!!!
i can do a 7 back handsprings in a row and i can do a r ound off back tuck the only problem is i cant do a st anding back tuck and i really want to do an aerial c an anybody help or does anybody need help
ok so a back tuck is fairly simple if you get each p art of it done right:
1. the set - one of the mos t important parts is the set because without it, u r rotation will be too low and ull always land on yo ur knees. so what you have to do is for standing, yo u must think and visualize going upwards before y ou flip...then when you start, whip your arms str aight up and push off, dont flip until you've real ly gotten a jump. for roundoff backtuck, make sur e you get some spring off the roundoff or the back h andspring before you begin the rotation.
2. the tuck - even more important is the tuck because if you dont tuck, that is when you can get seriousl y injured. so after you;ve got the set, you have to throw your weight back at the peak of the set and tu ck your knees to your chest, not your chest to your knees. the tuck is what keeps the rotation quick.
3. the landing - finally when you;ve complet ed the rotation, or most of it at least, you have to open up your body out of the tuck position and land your back tuck. it's best to bend your knees to abs orb some of the shock.
i learned how to do this very well this summer, and i can do a back tuck off o f anything and on florr, standing, roundoff or ro undoff back hanspring. be careful with it and tak e your time to learn it...it's best if you have som eone there to help who knows what they're doing. b ut you cannot land this move if you are afraid...y ou have to go balls out and just go for it to make the flip happen...otherwise you run the risk of hurt ing yourself. good luck.
i truely am unable to rexognize your inabilitie s to complete a standing double back summersault . I am currenly able to do a triple and am working on a quad oon my trampoline. One might also note that I have only been training for a meager fourteen ye ars.
Negro Daumus, i'm not even sure if it is physical ly possible to do a standing double back, let alon e a triple or quad. sure, it's possilbe to do a doub le while tumbling on a tumbling floor or off of a ba r or beam as a dismount in gymnastics, or of course on a trampoline, but just stamding and throwing a trible back flip and landing it is impossible.
Yo! Keep all freakin' talk of back tucks, bridges, and all that crap in their section, this is for the <font"+3">Double Backtuck</font> not the other stuff!!
