i know it as a pike kick, all you do is jump in the ai r and kick both feet out in front of you at the same t ime. you may want to get a running start.
here , do this . . . 1.) run like 4 or 5 five steps 2.) j ump in the air and pull your knees in close to your c hest 3.) before you hit the ground(immediatel y after step 2) snap both feet out in front of you so that you are doing 2 front kicks in mid air, keep yo ur feet touching 4.)pull your feet in back to yo ur chest and land it.
I agree with spidergirl. Whatever you do don't l ean back. I still can't decide what's worse- land ing on your back, or landing on your hands. luckil y I don't lean back now (its a lesson learned the ha rd and painful way). Alot of people just jump and t ry to kick, but as spidergirl says, you gotta get y our knees up to your chest then kick. I'm able to br eak wood with this kick at higher than my head heig ht. Also using 2 pieces of wood about 3 to 4 feet apa rt and kicking one with each foot. I'm currently l earning to burst a balloon. The balloon represen ts someones head, I run up, jump, bring both my leg s up to the horizontal one on either side of the bal loon and then snap them together bursting the bal loon. Biggest problem so far is if I miss the ballo on my ankle bang together...bone to bone, kinda p ainful. I can touch the balloon at head height wit h both feet but i haven't been able to burst it yet.
Thanks Spidergirl!!! Your description was like the first one I have read on here that I actually understand. Not that I can actually do it like Mike, but now that I know how you could'nt stop me from doing it if you tried.
