start right leg forward, through (chest-height) left leg roundhouse kick (or front kick, whichever the situation calls for), before it lands, throw jump turning side or hook or crescent kick with right leg. [Luccini]
This is one of the basic Taekwondo aerial kicks. Once you've mastered it with a round house, try using a knee, roundhouse knee, inward crescent kick, head height front snap kick, or an axe kick!! Then add an extra turn and land with a reverse turning kick, spinning back kick, outward crescent kick, or even a twisting kick!!
Hi, I was wondering if this kick is really all that practical, i mean its a highly complicated move and all but what if someone kicks in your NUTSACK while premorming it on them.
if you start out with a side kick and then a back spinning kick you can get 2 shots in easy, if you get good rotation i have done a third front round house.
How do you guys actually test the effectiveness of the move. I have been practising a couple of sets of free style moves and need to see if they work effectively. However i can't actually go out and hit anyone as it would be wrong and would get me arrested.
I have a clip of a guy doing this with the added rou ndhouse kick at end, and he was practicing on a mua y thai bag but he had some major speed and air time t o pull it off third kick before he touched the floo r. i use the the "hurricane kick" as you call it in s parring often. normally it starts with a cut kick or push kick off the top of the thigh (space betwee n the stomach and leg)then turn and do the hook or b ack kick after that. It works in general but don't get hit in the balls in the process. Oh and ZERO SIG NAL... Tekken 4 right?
The hurricane kick looks cool, and is very good f or training, but its useless in real combat, beca use you can see it come from a mile away. But it woul d rock as a finishing move.
