Flippin' out!
by Johnny on 2001-04-20
This manuever was actually easier than I had imagined. It took a while to realize that you're only completing 3/4 of the flip - that's because when you run up the wall your body leans back as you run.

First, decide which foot to launch off the wall with. I like to launch off my left so that I can swing my right up (its faster for me.) Next, start toward the wall and put the foot that you're NOT launching off of on the wall first. When your next foot comes up ahead of it, lean back so that your back is parallel with the ground (Tip: if you lean your head back and look for the ground its MUCH easier.) Now that you're perpendicular to the wall, swing your first foot up really fast and tuck both knees into your chest while springing off of your launching foot. When you "launch," try to push off at an angle pointing upwards - if you launch straight out you'll have to compensate by rotating faster. At this point, look for the ground and when you see it untuck and land.

A good place to practice this is off a a tree that has roots protruding at the base, or a tree with a grassy incline at the bottom. I learned how to do these at a park off of a big cedar tree. Happy trails...

Being very close to becoming a paraplegic
by JJ Spear on 2001-05-10
I've only tryed this a few times the first time I ran up to a wall planted my right foot on the wall then kicked up with my left tucked in and tryed to land but I sliped when I kicked up when my head went back I relized I was screwed because I saw the ground about 1 foot away from my face but since I Spin so quick I got a full rotation and stacked bad on my tail bone and 4th and 5th vertebrate, Next time I'm not going to flip off a wet wall. About how long does it take to master it?

i was shitting my pants
by CrazyMofo on 2001-05-20
when mymates first dared me to do this move about 10 years back i was shitting my pants cuz i had told them i had done it before just trying to look good..i didnt know what to do or anything so i ran at the wall as fast as i could took about 5 steps up this wall and just closed my eyes leaned back and jumped and to my surprise when i opened my eyes i was standing about 2 meters away from the wall looking at my footprints going up the side of my mates house without a scratch on me.....since that day i have been able to a back flip of a wall. IT WAS FROM THIS MOVE I GOT MY NICKNAME CrazyMofo.

i still am shitting my pants

wall filp
by Anonymous on 2001-09-01
hey i am a cheerleader at my school and i did the wall flip on my first try. if you are scared you can use a matt and have someone spot you. al that i do is slightly jog toward the wall from a couple steps out and plant your foot whichever is more comfortable and push up, back, and then tuck and rotate. i have a layout off of a wall i have also done these off of fences and lockers. so any questions email me at dtnfx@hotmail.com

hi

wall flip
by duncan on 2001-11-18
to learn to do a wall flip is heaps easy if you know how to do a back handspring. have a wall and a big thick mat under it.
you run at a wall place the foot you dont want to kick off with first. then place the foot you do want to kick off with second. with this foot you push off as if you are going to attempt a back handspring but instead, because you are so high you will miss your hands and land on your stomach. it doesnt hurt because you will land on the big thick mat you put under the wall. then you do this again, bet while you are in the air think about landing on your feet and you probably will. then keep practicing.
this worked for me and i think it will workfor you too.
hope i helped

by C.B.D. on 2001-12-06
how high would you have to be to do a wall flip?

Double Front
by Damon on 2001-12-23
I can do a double frontflip but it is very hard unless you have height and can flip extremely fast. I just learned it yesterday.

. . . .
by chad on 2002-06-06
i can wallflip with one step or two steps up the wall, but two looks cooler if you get good height. the advantage of a one step wallflip is that you can stand facing the wall a few feet away, push off wall with one step and flip with out needing any run. once you get wall flips with a minimal run you can do a bunch in a row. it's pretty intense and can make easy money to if you make bets with people.

Hello..Someone here told us that it's easy if you know a back handspring...Well for one..I don't know how to do a BACK handspring..If you could help me out here that would be nice

.......
by kyle on 2002-07-15
ok, it is definitely easier if u know how to do a backhand spring because when u do a wallflip it involves arching your back alot. but this doesnt mean u still cant do a wallflip, it just means it might not feel as natural. practice doing backwalk overs to get the feel of arching ur back, then on a mat or trampoliene start doing backhandsprings....or just forget all that and go for the wall flip, haha.

how do you...
by Ryuko on 2002-07-22
how do you even wall kick? lol i know it sounds stupid and lame but when i try i either slip or i cant jump up.. i just jump back.... like i wont get any height off my jump... any tips of that? yeah im really new at this areobatic stuff lol but hope to be able to teach ya some cool stuff one day! n_n

Boring
by Blaze on 2002-07-31
Ryuko, I know this sounds boring, but you should start with some easier stuff.Work on back bends and back handsprings.

I can do a wall flip with both one step and two steps, but I dont always land it, then I learned that I wasnt kicking up as much as I was backwards so that really helps.

Wall-Flips
by Demon Axman on 2002-10-15
This is not a good first move to learn if you are new to acrobatics, try front/back fliping first on a mat. There is a free video on how to do this, and many other tricks on www.breakdance.com is this link does not work, use the key-word 'wall-flip' on www.google.com

Later, The Demon Axman.

by Anonymous on 2002-10-26
I just got a wall flip today. It was hella easy.I just had to work up the courage to flip around. If your scared about flipping backwords just flips back on a pad and land flat on your stomach(suicide). So when i tried to do a wal flip i just plante my right foot pushed off and landed on my stomach after that i just worked on my form and got it.

Do not try this at home
by Anonymous on 2002-10-30
I am always scared to do these thing so the first thing i thougt of was SAFETY_FIRST
I coverd the hard ground with tons of straw i also decided to tighten 2 ropes about a meter in front of the wall,(to practise the movements i had to do)i took one rope in each hand, posed a foot on the wall and then a did the flip movement the flip all that in very low speed. After doing this i decided to go a bit quicker so i ran to the wall
(with the ropes in my hands)posed a foot on the wall when i did the flip thing i hit my haed versus the wall
(luckey for me it wasnt to hard)if i had done this quicker i would be at the hospital with a head injurie
SO DONT DO THIS AT HOME

by Anonymous on 2002-11-03
how high up the wall do i need to get

High
by Wolfgang on 2002-11-05
To do a wallflip you need to get your feet to about your head level when standing still. For me its 2 steps but it depends on how big of steps you take.

Peace Out

Don't over power it.
by ShadowlessTyger on 2002-11-07
When I tried this the first time I put too much power into it. Remember: your hands can catch yourself if you fall forward due to not enough power. Too much power and you'll feel a lot of pain.

Its not hard
by ryan on 2002-11-07
I tried the walflip the other day and i had a matt down, but i didnt step up and just throw myself, i just half assed is and i ended up breaking my toe. The most important part is jumping more up the wall than out, this way youll have more time. and when my toe heals ill write back and tell you how easy it is

I love wall flipping!!!!
by Wall Demon on 2002-12-22
Ever since i landed my first wall flip i have been doing it at least once a week. I first tried it in school by running over a crash mat to the wall it was really hard at first because the mat slowed me down and i allways laded in a tuck but once i used no mat and did it perfect.

My advice is dont try to show off by running more 3 steps up the wall and trying to do more than 2 flips, 1 flip is all you need.

Its well worth learning this move.

My friend can do this but he is small, about 5 ft 2 or 3 he is also very close, about 30 cm from his head touching the ground,he only takes 2 steps and seems to push of with his second foot, i am taller than him at 5ft 9 will i have to do it differently to him in order not to smash my head in the ground?

Wall fliptastic
by Muitako on 2003-01-28
Well, when i first started doing these, It was in the school gym, me and my mate had pushed a big blue crash mat up against the wall and we were half joggin half running along this and then taking a couple of steps up the wall and pushing off so that we were falling horizontally. or thats what we were trying, when we could get that, I tried to run and push off, but chickened out and sort of cartwheeled off the wall. But th next time I took 2 steps up the wall, swang my lower leg (right leg) through past my left and pushed with my left leg and landed ont eh crash mat. The mat doesnt really cushion the blow if you're landing on your feet, its juts a psychological thing. But, If you don't like running along the matt, you could have it just to the side and have a mate push it underneath you as your feet are on the wall. one thing i noticed, through a sprained foot is not to land with your legs too crouched otehrwise you screw something in the roof of your foot. But yeah, land with abotu half to 3/4 bent legs and they should be fine. just watch those feet, theya re the most important part of a gymnast or martial artist. Runnign is essential for me.

Slippery Wall
by Shuri_Dude on 2003-02-15

slippery wall
by waller on 2003-03-13
well first just try by rebounding off the wall, to make sure your shoes get a good grip and they dont slip. if they do then simply try another wall, hard brick walls should work.

by subject on 2003-03-13
well anonymouse because you are taller you should be able to get higher on the wall to prevent your head hittin the floor, think about it.

good way to start
by Matt on 2003-04-16
I'm a 16 year old student in NYC and at this point, I'm able to take 3 solid steps up a wall, and from a height of about 14 feet (measured by a friend on a ladder), I flip over backwards with my body perfectly straight – no tucking in my legs – and land on my feet on the ground. You should not learn how to do this by doing a one-step wall flip first because it requires that you rotate extremely fast, and if that rotation is not achieved, you'll land on your head. A two-step wall flip is much easier and safer because at your maximum height, all you have to do is push back with your foot off the wall. Still, start off with a mat. Good luck and be safe.

Salam can do Wall Flip
by TaeKwonDo Sal on 2003-05-30
wall fliping may seem impossible when u see someone do it, but its easier than it looks like.
the first thing u have to do is to train on a soft ground so u wont hurt ut self.
ok here we go.... if ur a newb. just run on to the wall, jump up and place ur right foot high on the wall (dosnt matter which foot cuz u get a spin eitherhow) when u do that push ur self verticualy so u will be sleeping on the air and at the sametime ur head is looking back (not to the sides cuz it will automaticly ruin the flip) then u kick with ur left foot (like a byckel kick in football). from then u will auto maticly spin and land on ur feet/knees on the first time. remember to jump high and not looking to the sides.
The flip goes better if u do it with two steps.´First u jump high with the right foot (ur head has to be leaned on the wall and not away from it) and take another step higher up with the left foot, when u r taking the second step make sure to see it then flip like usual.
this flip is just to damn sweet.... nice to scare the one u r fighting with ;)...good luck

Mastering the Wall Flip
by Dirty on 2003-06-19
JJ Spear,I mastered this move the first time I tried it. Maybe its because I've been watching kids at my school do them.

How to Wall Flip
by Dirty on 2003-06-19
If you can backflip, then you can learn the Wall Flip pretty fast. If you can do a Gainer, then you can DEFENTLY do the Wall Flip. The Wall Flip is a starting version of the Gainer.
You run to the wall,(not too fast. A bit faster than jogging.) put the foot you feel comfortable with.(I use my domonate foot)Put it on the wall at about your stomach hight. Then swing your other leg up and around you and throw your arms back(like you're doing a backflip) and jump from the wall all at the same time.

Methinks
by Jackfrost on 2003-07-31
Ok, two things...firstly, i heard somewhere that you should put your first foot on the wall, so you are horizontal, then bring your other leg up and with it, push up and off the wall to do the flip, without trying to much to run UP the wall? Is this true? Secondly, how high is the actual flip itself? Because to be able to flip over someone who is chasing you would be super cool. Thanks for your time

I love to do this move. I got good enough to flip over someone running behind me. i get about 7 to 8 feet in the air. If you are good at fliping off of just one step off the wall try running up it with two steps. You will be shocked at actually how high you can get.

if head hits wall
by MTHS .martial arts boy on 2003-09-16
If your head hits the wall when you land you should try to push away from the wall harder. If you got enough spin you should try jumping back off the wall and then tuck. This will make your head farther from the wall when you land.

I did an unassisted wall flip and landed ok. First off I had 2 friends assist me (they helped me spin) on my 3rd go I did one by myself and landed it. My 4th go I slipped and landed on my knees and head. Lesson learned is dont do on wet grass. I've doen about 5 succesful flips now. I tried one with a twist, but kinda messed it up.

Oh yea, I just did the flip with one step up the wall. 3 vodkas was the key to my success. Take the edge off.

What if you land on your head/neck .. big risk of being paralyzed or even dying?

Wall-Flip
by 3qu1nox on 2003-10-10
I just learnt how to do this move, and all i can say is that the most important thing is getting over the fear. If your even trying to do it, you probably already have the athleticism necessary (which is minute). If you cant get over the fear, find a way of getting mats under you, which will probably calm your fear a bit.

To execute the trick, half-run towards the wall, jump up the wall (at about your height) with the leg you will push off with, and then lean back and carry the other leg over you. Jumping up about your height should give you enough time to land on your feet, otherwise you are rotating too slowly and you should try and give yourself more torque when pushing off the tree.

But to reiterate, the most important part is getting over the fear. Trust me, its not that scary. I dont do any martial arts or gymnastics and have only been tricking for a little over a month. I can do a lot of tricks primarily because I pushed myself to overcome the fear.

Oh yea, when you get it down and start doing variations, you will notice how FREAKISHLY HIGH YOU GET WHILE DOING A 2 (or more)-STEP WALL-FLIP!!!(I sometimes get up to 9-11ft) Now that is scary...

The throurough explanation
by Tracker on 2004-01-14
Setting up for the wallflip is mainly you just st aring at the wall trying to determine your fate. T his move is no biggie. Most of it is just ballz and s ome water. You have to stay committed to the move o r else all you do is get your feet on the wall and jus t bail out. Also staying leaned back helps you sta y committed to the move, but we'll talk about that later. Make sure you have nice, soft, flat grass n ext to a silky smooth wall when first practicing t his move. Also make sure you have shoes, it's safe r that way. Make sure the ground or wall isn't wet e ither, or you are guaranteed to bust your ass or so mething else.you wanna make sure you have pretty good running distance from the wall. You don't wa nna be too far cause it will give you too much time t o think about the move. The less you think about it the greater the chance you'll do it. ^_^ You don't wanna run too fast or you'll just go straight into the wall. You also don't wanna go too slow either b ecause you won't have enough momentum to get over . Start out kinda slow with a half jog.Keep your ey es focused on the wall. You wanna look at the spot y ou intend on putting your foot. Keep focused ther e and you'll be sure to put your foot there. When yo u get about 5-6 feet from the wall you wanna start b uilding up speed towards the wall. This will help you use your momentum to it's full advantage.Lea ning back is very important when your actually on the wall, so start to lean back when you get one foo t on the wall. Take one big step up towards the wall and prepare your body to go up on the wall. Don't ju mp straight into the wall, you want to jump up on th e wall. In other words: go ^ on the wall not <--- int o the wall like a retarded kid.Now the leg you want to kick up onto the wall is the leg you first lift up as if you were to do a gainer. In my case I'm more com fortable with my left leg. I'm different from all you poseurs (yes that is the correct way of spelli ng it, I've looked into it dick!) haha!!! Swing th e back leg through toward the wall. Depending on h ow long your legs are, you wanna kinda jump a littl e more than the length of your leg away from the wal l. In my case it's Jump UP! Stay focused on the wall , and lean back! If you don't lean back you bail. Wh en you lean back you really have no choice but to go over, otherwise you land on your head. This is why leaning back helps you stay committed to the move . Plus you're already half way done with the move w hen you get up there! Just go all the way!!!around 3-4 feet away from the wall. know that sounds kind a high but when you get up there it doesn't seem tha t way. You don't wanna put your foot too high on the wall or else you won't get a good push off of it, and you don't wanna put your foot too low on the wall or you won't even get over. You also want to make sure your leg is perpendicular to the wall and not real ly diagonal. As you put your foot on the wall you wa nna start looking back for the ground. Use your ar ms as if you would on any normal back flip. Just cau se you have an aid from the wall doesn't mean you do n't still use your arms numbnutz. Kick your oppos ite leg from the wall through. When kicking throu gh, KEEP YOUR KNEE BENT!!! Don't be stupid by keep ing your leg straight and kicking your foot throu gh the wall. That's so stupid!! If you wanna exten d your leg do it after you passed the wall.Pushing off is easy. Just push as if your were doing a long j ump... up the wall... In other words, Jump up the w all but have your back towards the direction you c ame from. Push the wall as if you were trying to pus h forward on the ground if you were running and try ing to gain speed. I really can't find a better way to explain it. Lean back! Look for the ground. Tuc k your legs and bring them back in front of you to la nd. If you don't then your going to fall on your fac e! Choose wisely ^_< Now if you do all that then you will surely do a wall flip, no Experience needed ( don't believe them when they say u do they are just saying that to make you mad then laugh when you do a ll that unnecessary shit for preparation) Have f un.

bet with a friend
by Jeff on 2004-02-12
i bet one of my friends at school that i could do a w allflip in two weeks, about 2/20/04...
the sta kes...two strawberry shortcakes at lunch. man t hose things are good. 50 cents each too so if i lose its no biggie.
the problem though is getting ov er the fear of doing a backflip off a wall. i can do a standing backtuck and i have a mattress i can brin g outside to use to learn on.
if you could put any thing on here about how you did on your first try or how easy it is it really helps more than actually e xplaining the trick becuase everyone who has rea d down to my message already knows how to im sure. a ll you need to do is boost their confidence, say yo u landed it on your first try not that you will brea k your neck
im pretty confident i can do it but it s wet outside right now and i dont even want to try b ecause i have read other users posts already. soo n i will be able to do a wallflip im sure...i can alr eady taste those strawberry shortcakes

HOW TO DO A WALL FLIP
by cam on 2004-03-13
ok, every1 is asking, so ill tell you. first thin gs first. get a spotter, to kinda hold you up for yo ur first one. now to do the flip itself is kinda of h ard, but only for the first time. step on the wall w ith your best foot first, the your bad foot. you ki unda push off with you bad foot and swing your good flip around to spin you.
NOTE: before you try on e try running up the wall with a mat underneath. tr y and get perfectly horizontal and high up, and al so preactice the foot swing to get your spin. when your ready, try it. if you can learn a gainer (and b ackflip moving forward) first.oh ya, and when yo u do your first one do grab your knees and hold them till you land. kinda semi bring your kees to your c hest and flip. and if you have access to a gym and a c oach, use it.

Easyer than u think!
by Tical on 2004-03-30
hey this is to all who are scared about it!
i kno w what u think... u stand infront of this wall, and thin about all things u see, is there anythin that can hurt me, what about landing on head, brak my fo ot or leg.. whatever..
BUT! the best way is to pu t a not too big mat infront of the wall, so u can run a nd jump high off the mat!
then get a spoter, he ju st looks at you, and mybe save u! then practice doi ng one or 2 steps up the wall, and look how high u can run/jump up
then run up the wall, and do somethi ng, that u land on ur stomach, so usee it dont hurts .. that helps ur mind! then get ur mind clear, and r un to the wall, run up 1 or 2 steps, and just lean bac k, try to get ur other foot over ur head! LAND! that s it... it maybe helps if u look at the ground! if u m astered it, that a little mat and do it again, u wil l see its a bit harder, but u just have to fight the f ear...
and do it as much as u need... well u maste red a wallflip, and same on grass, and on street.. .

i had about 1 hour and 10 minutes trained wit h mats then on grass..!
i did start with 2 steps, and can 2 and 1 steps now.. so thats it!

Wall Flip
by if its optional then i wo on 2004-04-26
well you wont be running up or have that feeling b ecause your only going to plant one foot(your mos t dominant foot on the wall) you don't have to jump horizontaly at the wall you just have to be sort of on an angle like this ----> \ ya and since its one fo ot you wont have the feeling of running up the wall so with your other leg just kick it over and lean ba ck bring your legs into your chest and voi la. Oh an d i think anyone idiot is capable of doing this tri ck its just the fear that holds us all back.

easy trick..
by b0uncer on 2004-06-07
doing a wallflip is very easy..the only "diffic ult" thing in it is to get rid of the stupid "I'm afr aid" -feeling.. :)

the easiest way is to star t off with a hard wall, which won't let your shoes s lide (so too smooth wall isn't good..you may slip and hurt). put some half meters high box beside th e wall so that it CANNOT FALL OR MOVE when you kick i t forward (this is the place you jump for the first time...makes things easier)

now when you ha ve that one, put something a bit soft under you beh ind the box (so it goes like this: wall, box, soft- something) but not too soft..you must be able to r un on it without problems. then go some two or thre e meters back from the wall, take a nice run (not to o fast, though, so that you can jump nicely :) and w hen you reach the box, it begins:

if you like t o jump with your right foot, then put your left on t he box when you run into it. because it's a bit high er than ground, you push yourself with the left fo ot upwards and at the same time put your right leg o n the wall. when your right leg reaches the wall, y our left one should already be detached, and by th e time it swings past your right one, your right on e should push you hard upwards and a bit backwards (this happens quite automatically).

and wh at happens next? your left leg keeps swinging a bi t, and your right one pushes you off the wall. left leg's swing makes you go around (tuck if you want a nd you'll get more spin), and your right leg's kic k makes you go backwards. so you'll roll around in the air and when you've gone 360 degrees around, y ou're still on air - at least some centimeters - so that you'll land completely nicely on your both f eet, without problems.

when you've done thi s for a some time, take the box off and run a few time s to the wall without the flip - taste the new kick, until you feel it's ok, and then do the flip. the bo x is here to help you start, and as long as you use it , you probably can't fail unless you simply drop t he kicking-part off :) and the soft thing? well, i f you happen to get scared and don't swing enough, you'll fall on it and not hurt. you won't fall on th e box, because it's so close to the wall that your l eg _will_ make you go more backwards, if you just p lant it on the wall...that's enough.

also, d epending on your own height, you may try to move th e box farther or closer to the wall...so that you g et a good place so that putting the other leg on the wall goes smoothly, without hurry. I like when th e ledge of the box is about 0,5m from the wall and th e box is that high too...you may change it if you wa nt.

also, the box gives you enough height eve n in the beginning so that you'll succeed..witho ut the box it's a bit more difficult, but just a lit tle bit :) the box is your friend, it makes you do it the first time and get rid of the fear.

and for the last thing (this has already been said): if yo u are afraid you won't spin around but fall on your head (which could kill you), take this advice: be nd your head backwards when swinging the leg past the other; bend it so that you'll see to your backs ide, and eventually you'll see the ground. your b rains take care of the rest so that your body comes along..though it sounds odd, bending your head m akes your body bend and go around.

there is, o f course, a small chance for failing and breaking yourself up; even killing yourself if you happen to screw everything up completely (which is diff icult to do)...so don't blame me. just keep somet hing soft beneath you and DO IT FULLY, DON'T TRY TO "PRACTISE" IT BIT BY BIT, BUT DO IT COMPLETELY THE FIRST TIME. practising it bit by bit is the same as being afraid, which causes injuries..doing it w ith courage makes you succeed.

doing this off the box is a two-step wallflip; fi rst on the box, second on the wall. after you do thi s, you surely succeed on the rest: one- and two-st ep wallflip without the box :)

one-step wall flip goes like "run, plant foot on wall, kick, tuc k and spin" - it goes quite low on air, so you simply can't fear it or you'll fail. just run and jump, an d if you do it without hesitating, it goes.

tw o-step wallflip goes higher, "run, plant foot, p lant other, kick, tuck and spin" so you'll succee d better..just take a good position so you'll get your both feet on the wall nicely. you'll also nee d a good distance, something that you feel is ok; o ne-step flip goes even without running (from a st andstill), but two-step needs a running speed.

kicking..

when you plant ur foot, KICK OFF HARD, that will g i veyou momentum to not crash ur head into the wall , and to help you turn over.....remember =)

I use to do wall flips alot, until I slipped about three times. I'm scare to do them again, I didn't g et hurt physically, just mentally. I am 18 yrs. ol d. I just started flipping on my own this year(04) , about three months ago. I can now do roundoff bac k handsprings, and roundoff backflip or tuck. No w a want to accomplish an aerial, aerial wall flip , a gainer, and a 180' twist off of my backflips. I' m too scared, can anyone give advice.
P.S. Back tuck No hand is real hard for me, I basically land p artially on my knees and hands. HELP!

Easy way...
by Kokasion on 2004-07-25
Just run up to the wall place ur dominate foot on i t and try to bounce off the wall (sometimes u might have to skip step to get ur dominate foot up there) (bouncing off the wall is like jump to the wall put one foot on and push off) after u push off arch ur ba ck and try to look at the ground... landing is easy after u get the hang of the flip... the only thing s toping u is chickening out at the end so dont blame it on anything else... its all in ur head. and i bet everyone can do it if they had the guts...

Wall Flip
by max on 2004-08-11
All you need to do a wall flip is just take your fea r away. Try running up and just pushing backwards and landing on your stomach. Just be a man and gath er your courage. Try pushing off harder and harde r each time and you'll notice how you'll progress each time. Then you'll finally do it straighter a nd straighter each time until you get it perfect. Good luck and be careful.

by dan on 2004-09-15
I can do a solid one step wall flip with a decent am ount of height. Can anyone teach me how to do a two s tep wall flip. I always feel like my second foot wo nt reach the wall or that i won't be able to push off and i'll just fall to the ground horizontaly with out any rotation. Do i need to keep my first leg ben t more and lean back less? Can anyone help me?????

landing on your knees
by dan on 2004-09-16
when you are pushing off the wall, think about pu shing off at an angle that is more up than backward s, this should give you some more hangtime, and if this doesn't help, you need to tuck your body tigh ter so you rotate faster and have more time to prep are for the landing.

Again, anyone know an ything about a two step wall flip?

Wall Flips are easier than shit
by NoProfessionalTraining on 2004-09-21
I'm a 5'9, 17 yrs old male and I wall flipped first try without problem. I have never taken gymnasti cs or karate, but i am crazy as hell. I can also do st anding back tucks and almost back fulls (i am work ing on it). The wall flip looks sweet and I will ema il pictures to anyone who wants to see it. By the wa y don't get too cocky until you are very experienc ed at the trick- the second attempt i landed on my f ace and did "the worm." It didn't hurt too bad bc i w as on grass.
