I don't konw what U mean "moon Kick" cause same(even not exatly) words are many in use
1. "Ban Wal Cha Gi" -> half moon kick? it's out side spin kick ex) 1st. up your right foot 2nd. spin & kick out(from "in" to "out") 3rd. it use side of foot(like karate chop) or heel 4th. it looks like " )|" left " ) " is your right foot's way
sometime it play with jumping
2. "Ban Dal Cha gi" : half moo kick(i don' know other translate. sorry) It's same with Summer sault(i ca't sure spelling but U can understand)
3. and other many many moon kick & half moon kick is also in other kinds of martial arts...
The moon kick is just like the cresent kick, where if your in a sparring stance, the back leg will come beside the left knee, like a side-kick, going left then sweep upward and across to the right heading back to where it came from. That would a interior moon kick, or in American TKD; a inside-outside cresent kick. All this you do here is instead is take the back leg and sweep it up and over in front to the left side, American TKD: outside-inside, Korea: exterior moon

FIRST, in a f ightinnng stance, a back stance, a sparring stan ce, or whatever the hell you wanna kall it.
Th eres TWO VERSIONS of tihs kick. The first is hitti ng with your instep (the INSIDE side of your foot) the other is hitting with the other side of Your Fo ot)
KEEP YOUR LEG STRAIGHT when you do this ki ck. STRAIGHT. DO NOT BEND IT @ THE KNEES YOU SISSSY
To do an INSIDE crescent kick, Your BACK leg A RCS up and forward. The target is IN FRONT OF YOU. W hen you get to the middle, just keep going, lettin g your foot drop back to the floor. The Axe kick is w here you get to the middle and you HACK your foot st raight down onto the target (think: collarbone)
The OUTSIDE crescent:
USING YOUR BACK L EG, In a BACK stance: swing this leg towards your o pposite shoulder, going straight in front of you r other leg, once you start RAISING YOUR LEG, you T wist your hips to Pull the leg in a RAINBOW or CRESC ENT motion back to where you started from. YOUR TA RGET IS IN FRONT OF YOU!
